Family owned, I see then every morning getting there all together and running this place from open to close. It's delicious & I've eaten here more than 10 times since it's right around the corner from me. They are fast service & their teas are better quality compared to boba spots nearby & better prices! I can get a fruit tea for $5 & a matcha jelly for $7 & the food is yummy. I've have their tofu spring rolls which are huge. I usually spend $11 for a tea & appetizer

I had a hazelnut latte while working at SP Cafe and enjoyed my time there! It's a pretty nice, relaxed space to hang out or work/study at. The WiFi works quite well - there aren't too many outlets, but enough for the number of people there at the time. I also tried a little of their Vietnamese Banh Mi that my friend was raving about, and it was delightfully good. However, the egg roll took the cake! So delicious, fresh and crispy!

Favorite place in San Antonio. Favorite. I lived near the Vietnamese cultural centre in Washington DC and took great banh mi for granted. Every time I visit San Antonio, I search for it's equal and now I have found it. During my last trip I despaired at finding my beloved. Some how, some where this place came to my attention and I am eternally grateful. The restaurant reminds me of the cafe-style places I ate at in DC. The menu includes sandwiches, bo kho, pho, and bo hue (every other weekend). They sell croissant and pate chaud which I did not try, but I scored a couple of baguette for a later meal. The roast pork spring rolls are just icing on the cake-- 2 delectable treats on a plate with fabulous peanut sauce. The Vietnamese banh mi is so good I came two days in a row to have it. It is so good that my father's wife, after coming the first day, came again the second day because it was so good -- she hates me, so it was def the food that brought her. I am a huge fan and will evermore eat here whenever I am in San Antonio.

First time here and was craving my mother lands food (and also I don't want to cook today). Parking was easy. Service was kind and fast ! Restaurant was clean and I love the ambience. I ordered Beef Pho with Eye Round Steak and Tendon, Sugar Cane Juice, Mango Milk Tea w Boba, and Chicken Vermicelli. The pho was amazing ! The broth was fatty, and rich. The meat was cooked well and flavor was very close to how I would cook it. My boyfriends meal was also really good and fresh, he enjoyed it a lot. The sugar cane made me miss home, it's really close to how it taste like in Vietnam. And the mango milk tea boba was good too. Definitely delicious and would recommend, would go again !! As a vietnamese person who cooks a lot of viet food, I highly recommend this place.

First time eating here today, just passing by and ordered a Bahn Mi sandwich...actually got the F1 and the F6 (beef). They are both very delicious. The F1 is fresh and light, while the F6 is still fresh but more filling/satisfying...like if you wanted to really feel full, this sandwich gives that sensation. Overall, the cafe was very clean and tidy, and I appreciate how friendly everyone was--especially the lady who brought the food from the kitchen, she reminded me of my mom from Eastern Europe (that sort of lovely, sweet grandmotherly warmth)! I am looking forward to coming back and trying more items from their menu!

This is our go to boba spot and they have a bunch of food to go with your drink too!! We always stop here when we're in the north park mall area. Affordable, flavorful, and fresh tapioca boba always. We got the Thai iced tea and matcha tea with boba -- never disappoints. Their Vietnamese sandwiches, pho, and stews are always delicious. I'd recommend to anyone since they also have vegan/vegetarian options!

SP Cafe is my to go spot before I head back home from SAT to JFK. I get a soup to eat and a Banh Mi to go. Their coffee is also good. This place is always busy and the food didn't disappoint yet.

Love this place so much. Best Vietnamese banh mi in town. The service is a bit slow but everyone is super friendly. I held off writing this review bc it was a hit or miss when they were first opening . Now they have it down to a smooth operation. The food is great!

Very good Vietnamese cafe/bakery/soup restaurant. Lots of parking and quite a bit of seating, both of which are relatively rare for some cafes. Service was fast and friendly, and the food was good, enough for me to come back and try some more of their menu items. They were out of the item I was there for, banh bot chien. (Fried rice cakes, a to-die for dish!) The lady I spoke with didn't speak enough English for me to determine if it was just out for the day, or if they don't serve it anymore. I'll update this review if I find out. The fried pork egg rolls are juuuust short of great, they are packed with all the things I like in Vietnamese egg rolls: glass noodle, carrot, pork, and black mushroom. However, they were warm, not hot so they'd been sitting out for a bit. The banh mi had excellent bread and great flavors. Again, just short of great due to the odd choice of meat. I got the grilled beef banh mi, and it was a sort of ground meat cutlet or Vietnamese meatloaf, not something I'm used to getting. I will be back to try some different items on the menu, and hopefully they have banh bot chien! This place scores a 4 out of 5 on the 'CTJ Scale', as noted below. 5 out of 5 stars: Come-to-Jesus good. Would be OK passing away after finishing a plate here. 4 out of 5 stars: Come-to-Mary good. Would be OK having a nosh here with Mother Mary. 3 out of 5 stars: Come-to-Joseph good. Would be OK having a beer here with Jesus' Dad. 2 out of 5 stars: Come-to-the-Apostles good. Meh. Wouldn't have my last supper here. 1 out of 5 stars: Come-to-Nobody good. I wouldn't have my penultimate supper here, either.
